Boer/BE fibre passes CTI asbestos testing
Abstract
In April 2015, 'Boer/BE' fibres passed third-party asbestos testing by Centre Testing International (CTI), conducted per ISO 22262-1:2012 and NIOSH 9000:1994 using polarised light microscopy (PLM) and XRD. The scope covered chrysotile, crocidolite, amosite (grunerite), fibrous tremolite, fibrous actinolite and fibrous anthophyllite; the result was no asbestos detected, with no asbestos component found.
The article also lists earlier testing the BE series had undergone: XRD analysis by the National Non-metallic Mineral Products Quality Supervision Center, D/max2550V XRD analysis at the inorganic materials centre of the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, PONY Testing asbestos testing, the EU-version MSDS and SDS, SGS qualitative asbestos testing, RoHS 6-substance testing and REACH SVHC 144-substance testing.
